Shai Agassi’s blog, The Long Tailpipe is a really great read. If you are interested in a future model for the electric car scaled to the mass its worth taking a look at. Shai’s model is being implemented by Israel and if it works could be a model for the rest of us. You can get up to speed with Thomas Friedman’s piece on The Long Tailpipe in the New York Times.

I think it is great and would have been nice if we had implemented electric cars many years ago when the technology was invented! It’s all about greed for the green, if only that was the environmental green. Looks they have found a way that they can still make money from personal transportation. $600 is still alot for some but it is great news for the environment.
If only we could time travel…even to now…where it still might not be too late to save the world as we know it.
