I went to the Infopresse site and since it's French only and I'm English only, I asked my good friend Babelfish to translate for me - always entertaining, so I thought I'd share (especially with this intriguing 'sweater' model):

Music industry recently faced material changes which obliged it to find new methods of marketing and distribution of the music. The abandonment of the format CD, the proliferation of the numerical files, the emergence of the new methods of consumption are only some examples. It is in this context that David Usher will speak during this conference. During this interview, he will discuss the constant changes lived in the industry of the music, of the importance of engagement and the continuous contact with his fans as well as construction of communities. Its speech will relate to its experiments maintained with the social networks and the vidéos divided, the importance of the creativity and the impact of the changes in the hierarchy of information on the way of creating. It will treat transition from the traditional model of “push” towards the model contemporary Web of “sweater”.

This fall's gonna be eventful for you, nice!
Social Media is in issue of course. I feel, even such a great thing like blogging needs to develop. It needs something, well, more interactive.. and organized.
