I dont get much time for games, but Ive got to try this.
I have to run around the city and try to save the world! I love the imagination and i want to have a coffee with the minds that thought this up. Its simple but so outside. I want to run around Montreal and New York and Bangkok.

You can try out a demo of the game on any website, “The Last Guy promotional site.”

yes, david im trapped here in bangkok. pls come and save us!
i really appreciate the idea too. this is way much better than the one behind the GTA (the Grand Theft Auto game).
it was just a few weeks back here that there was a highschool boy shot a taxi chauffeur to death and admitted that he had been inspired by the game. definitely, the game is not the only factor but it is more or less the main one.
so launching of The Last Guy is surely a good sign. im supporting for sure.
thanks david. ^^
ps. have you ever noticed that when entering the url http://www.davidusher.ca it will automatically direct to the canadian music hall of fame page?
maybe they want to treat you as the all time awarded artist?
it is the most rationally explanation i can think of right now..lol ^^
I love the idea, brought me chills of pleasure where spine and brain meet!
bui, why didn’t you bookmark the site? (just a thought)
I don’t bookmark either, I use RSS Feed updates
thank you for the advice, brenda. (i always welcome advices:)
but did you mean why didnt i bookmark cloudid or why didnt i bookmark the last guy game? and how did you know that i didnt bookmark it? lol
i just started to play these things not long time ago. i have been bookmarking and using the feeds here and there, and im still quite confuse with a lot of them..hehe. :p
i did rss feed both for this site (cloudid) and for the comments on this specific post. i do get updates when david post more blog though but i havent been noticed that there is someone replied here until i come and check here myself.
i know there are many options we can choose in which way we want to get updating (via email, via google homepage, via the feed center of internet explorer, etc.) but i still confuse a lot though..lol. im learning how to organize them..so do you have any more clues helping me manage them?
Hi bui, let me answer your question.
If you have noticed that updates are coming late, you can change an update time option, choosing an autoupdate, or if the tools are tuned, it’s obviously a broadcatching trouble. Anyway RSS or any other client or feed makes your life more easy. You can check here and there if you’ve several sites, but if you have more than ten, it’ll takes all day long
good luck!
Bui, I’m still figuring it all out as I go along too but from what I saw you can subscribe to either or both the posts and the commenting. I only subscribe to the new posts from David because he only posts when nobody has commented a given subject for a few days; so until a new subject appears I pop in every once in a while to see if something of interest came up.
That was an interesting game, the longer the line gets the harder it is to avoid the bad guys, so what do you do rescue a few people at a time and gun it back to the shelter a few times or take your chances and rescue as many as possible with hopes of making it back with less trips?
I like this because I thought about other things while playing it.
Has anyone ever saved everyone? Very innovative way to navigate a site too..
@Svetlana, thank you:) now i know whats the problem. i just changed the update time option from the period of 1 day to 15 mins (im using IE, and it is the least timing available)
yes, i love feeds:) and now another lesson ive learnt is that we should concentrate only on one feed center (i dont know the technical terms, sorry :P). i mean there should be only one place where you would like to get all the updates. i havent decided yet which one i prefer the most though, but i can say that i dont like the IE one much.
sometimes im also wondering what is the best way to do since it seems like that the users are not the one who can control 100% of their own management system. for example, i would love the feed for comments on this post to show on my google account but the button here (the “RSS Feed for Comments on this Post” button besides the “TrackBack” button) just cannot allow me to do so.
@Brenda, thank you. ^^ yes, sometimes he posts when nobody has commented a given subject for a few days. but normally i think he just post when he feels like he would like to say sth. or have sth. to share.
@stormy, for me, i tried to rescue as many as possible since it takes very much less time when taking less trip and there are the bonus points added. the longer the line the more points you gain.
yes, i saved everyone when running on the google.com page coz it is the easy stage one (only 300 ppl to rescue. have you tried running on davidusher.com page? i found it very exciting one.
Awesome.
I’m on my way to grab some coffee and then I’m taking my husband for a run, some sprints followed by some weight lifting.
Think I’ll have the same effect??
I tend to think so!
Love ya! <3
heya bui+: I could not find it on davidusher.com; where do i find it?
Oh. My. God. This game is so crazy addictive. (And, yes, a wonderfully simple idea) Now I’ve got the theme music stuck in my head…. thanks alot
