I think its amazing. First i want to say its a great piece of music, very inspiring. I had no idea Iphone could do that. There is nothing cold or wrong with using technology for these kind of purposes. I think you guys watched Terminator movies a bit too much. Technology is not cold and alien, its used to bring people together and it does. Guitar Hero is such a social game.

Thank god there are some people with sense left in this world. Lol… I’m relieved not to be the only one a little put off by this. I am all for technology and the advances that it can bring us as a whole, but I am equally repulsed by the way it can dull our creativity rather than inspire it. Seriously a phone flute? First Guitar Hero, then bandz and now this? Its ridiculous in my opinion. Put your joysticks away and pick up a real instrument. For the love of music!!!

ElizabethLouise… i’ll see you and i’ll raise you…. i don’t care for this at all. i like the innovation, but the end product/result is a complete miss for me. it’s a case where ‘just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD’.

but, that being said - we’ll never know what works for the masses unless we keep trying and keep throwing things at the wall. sometimes the things that end up sticking surprise us all.

Wow it really has gone kinda quiet around here…

Anyway thanks for posting this, it’s an application I hadn’t even dreamed of for, well, a phone? Should we even call them that anymore? A cool toy, very pretty sound and I support just about anything that is an outlet to inspire creativity, but there’s still something cold about it. Maybe it’s just me, but it’s missing something. The same something a wood flute has even before you hear it played. Probably just me getting old and imagining things, but while I’d love to play with one I hope these type of things never replace acoustic instruments. What does everyone think? Progress, the future, or an expensive toy we’ll grow tired of quickly?
